High gasoline prices plus tougher economic times have seen a dramatic fall in car sales in New Zealand.
Sales of new cars and commercial vehicles fell 15.7% in July compared to last year, the biggest seasonal drop in new vehicles sales since the 1990s. But sales of used imported vehicles fell even more, by 36.8%.
